As I have said for months and months...I don't believe that party politics serves a school board ANY useful purpose. None. Zero. You're not going to find out really anything you need to know based solely on party identity. I don't want a political party trying to tell me what I should or shouldn't do. As a voter, I truly vote for the person and the platform that I think is best. Sometimes that's the Republican and sometimes that is a Democrat. I have voted Independent or third party before. There are some aspects of life and the state/country/ world that we live in where I for sure lean right and others I lean left. I chose Independent because I am political. I have never missed an election that I was eligible to vote in....beginning in 1988. I didn't chose "non-partisan" because of that fact. I am political.
I can't say it any better than our current President of the TCSC School Board, who is running for reelection as a Republican.
